**See photos attached.After ProRise's assessment and consultation, we chose to pay for paint stripping as a key piece of our decision to go with this company. According to ProRise, our home was suitable for stripping and the added cost would elevate the quality of the paint job. Our contract explicitly included paint stripping and surface sanding "to smooth out any rough areas" following stripping. Instead, ProRise left our home with substantial divits, far from the quality we were sold on.The ProRise team's deviation from the services explained in the consultation and contract, lack of final quality, and unwillingness to reply to questions in writing left us frustrated and disappointed with the final product. Our wood siding is significantly more damaged than before this work took place. When we raised these concerns, ProRise added filling to a 10x4' section of our siding but would not fix the rest of the damage. ProRise declared that more work would be at additional cost.If you are looking for a quality final product on exterior wood, don't chose ProRise.
ProRise is AMAZING! I reached out to several companies for the quote on my exterior paint job. Although the quotation from ProRise was not the cheapest, I still chose to go with ProRise as it promised me to start the job immediately once the weather turns good.Mick, our Estimator explained the scope of work thoroughly and provided the quotation in details. He is very sincere and helpful. Once we made the deposit, the Production Manager, Edmond, confirmed with me the project start date with no delay. The painting crew came on time and carried out the work within the timeframe I requested. Jeff, whom I assume is the crew leader, is very professional and detail-oriented. He communicated with me and answered all my questions politely and respectfully. He is one of the nicest and most friendly people I have met!I was so amazed and impressed by the end result. I can’t be more satisfied!I would definitely recommend ProRise, The team was organized and punctual. Most importantly, the quality and result is beyond what I’m paying for!
Back in Oct. 2019 we used ProRise to paint our hallways, 2 bedrooms, kitchen and livingroom/dinning of our 1000 square foot apartment.Cost (back in 2019)The quote was $2,600 for walls and trim. Without trim it would be about $1,500. In the end the total was $1,450.Communication:Before the job the communication was really good via email, quick answers and collaborative. After the job, however, the communication was mostly over the phone. Unfortunately, it was hard for me to understand the accent.Complications:Towards the end I did make an aquiry that was replied via phone... I asked them to clarify via email. But never got a response.I was inquiring about a 3% fee for jobs over $1,000. It was based on the $450 above the $1,000 limit. So the additional charge was only $13.50. Which I wrote off as a tip.When they complete their job they will ask you to sign a form stating the job as complete. BE SURE to go and look through all the painted areas. There were some spots where the paint wasn't even or an over looked spot.Final thoughts:I liked the job Prorise did. At the time I thought it was a good deal and they were efficient, well prepared and friendly. After it was done months later, in certain light, I noticed that around the perimeter of the walls the paint was not even. If I were to do it myself it would take longer and not be done as well. It's a company I'd recommend to friends and family.
From the first exchange to the last exchange, ProRise was a great experience. I called in for a quote and Joseph and his trainee were able to come to my Condo to have a quote done within 1 hour. I don't think I've ever had a Business respond that quickly. He mentioned time and time again that while they weren't the cheapest, they weren't the most expensive and their quality speaks for itself. I wholeheartedly agree.Joseph was able to pinpoint what I wanted to do and provide great recommendations for paint. He and his team were able to professionally paint my unit within a couple of days (and within my own timeline) and fix any errors. They were able to paint every single wall, every baseboard, fix my ceilings, clean up messes that I made originally with any holes, fixed my washrooms, and beautifully painted the fireplace.The only hiccup I encountered was when one of his paint managers was late for a post walkthrough, however, he was courteous and professional and he owned up to his mistake. I also understand that he has a newborn baby at home so I do not fault him for it. He still came to my unit and we were able to do what we needed to do without any issues. He offered to make amends for this error and I graciously accepted his offer.They did an amazing job - I was able to sell my unit over asking and my unit became a market maker in Port Coquitlam.Overall, if you want to sell your home and you want to have beautiful photos for your unit AND potentially sell over asking, this is the company you go for.I will be coming back to them if I ever need painting done, that's for sure.
Pro Rise did an amazing job with painting my condo. I had the whole place repainted before I moved in and the colours that Pro Rise recommended for me were absolutely perfect.
