It took a lot longer to complete than any of us thought, but the guys did great work…the attention to detail was incredible and the finished product is just as incredible. I would recommend Western View, but please remember painting, sanding, chinking is not an exact science so be patient with the crew that will do the work…it’s hard, labor intensive, and time consuming work.My cabin looks great and the transformation was incredible!Thanks so much to Rob, Chris, all the guys and girls who worked on the project!Old pics show how bad the cabin was….new pics show how beautiful it now is.I appreciate you all very much!
I chose Western View Painting based on their reputation for thorough prep work and experience with log built homes. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from what I expected. Prep work on my home was either not done, poorly executed, or had to be redone multiple times. As far as I am concerned, the job is incomplete and aspects of the work have resulted in damage to my property. While the owner did attempt to address some of the issues related to the recent exterior paint job completed on my home I remain dissatisfied with several aspects of the work, which fall significantly below acceptable standards. Its been a month since this project was initiated and although Western View Painting acknowledged that the level of preparation did not meet professional standards, the issues remain unresolved. It was only after I filed a complaint with the BBB that the owner offered a $300 goodwill adjustment to my final balance, insisting the work reflects the level of work outlined in the original agreement. Why then was the original contractor and his crew terminated for similar poor performance on other homes and representatives for the company admit that my project was completed incorrectly in multiple areas?
Western View was amazing to work with! They were professional, arrived on time, and had our project done quickly, and it all came out perfect! They even vacuum and mop the floors after pulling up the floor protectors before they do the final walk through!!! I highly recommend Western View for any paint project and I will be using them again soon for other areas of my home.
Beware! We received a very low-quality exterior home paint job and even lower quality customer service from owner Rob Yarbro and the Western View Painting team. They over-promised and under-delivered on every aspect of the job: timeline, cost, and most importantly - quality. Take a look, the pictures speak for themselves. We learned our lesson and should have gone with Dory and Sons Painting. Hopefully we can spare you the nightmare that was our experience with these guys.
