Great experience dealing with Mr. Woods. Easy to work with, top notch work, reasonably priced. Highly recommended!
Mr. Doug Woods and, his grandson, Mr. Zak Woods repainted my entire home. They successfully navigated many interruptions and impediments, completing my home within the requirements laid out at the beginning. They are trustworthy and "go the extra mile" type of people.Mr. Doug is very knowledgeable about the intricate details to provide an accurate, fantastic result.I will be using them again. Also, I might delete this review, in hopes he doesn't get too busy from it haha.
I hired Doug Vann Woods Jr to fix some things in a house I'm getting ready to sell. He repaired a pocket door, but 3 or 4 days later the rollers came off the support bar. He tried to put it back on its track but he couldn't get it rehung and so he just left it like that. He repaired a bifold closet door but it came off its track just a few days later. I tried to fix it but couldn't, so I asked Doug to come back and fix. (Like the pocket door, the closet door came off its track about 3 or 4 days after I paid my bill.)I also hired Doug to scrape the popcorn off the bathroom ceiling, but I pointed out that the repair had dents & holes in it. He said it needed the final coats of mud but it's unfinished and looks unprofessional. At the same time, I hired him to repaint the kitchen cabinets. He had his brother do the painting job, but to me it looks like only one coat was applied instead of two. When I ask Doug (via text) how many coats of paint are on the cabinets, he ignores my question.I'm trying to get these things fixed or finished but now Doug says he's "backed up" and too busy to finish the ceiling or fix the doors. I'm a 65 year old woman with breast cancer. I really need to get this house sold (or rented) because my cancer treatments are financially depleting. I paid Doug Woods over $1000 to do various repairs on this house and many of his repairs are wrong or unfinished. He's been paid but now he won't respond to my calls or texts.Doug should fix the repairs he did that came undone just a few days later. I also think he should tell me how many coats of paint are on the cabinets, and apply a second coat of paint if my hunch is right. But I think I'll be lucky if Doug Woods fixes the two doors and finishes the ceiling. I regret hiring him.
Mr. Woods and his crew did a excellent job painting my office. I would recommend their painting services to anyone. Very punctual and very fair pricing.
By far the best contractor I've ever worked with. Trustworthy, skilled, and fair.
