The workmen did a fantastic job!They did repair work to my kitchen ceiling and then painted it. They showed up when scheduled and completed the work in record time. I would definitely use them again and have already recommended them to my sister.
1st project amount $14,0002nd project amount $310,000 ( multiple apartment buildings)Huge communication breakdown at this company. Owner only calls you back after you leave multiple messages. When he does call you back his number comes up as " restricted ". When I asked his rude assistant if I could call Christopher directly she informed me that this wasn't the way they do business around there. I told her I had a time sensitive issue and I needed to talk directly to Christopher she told me to " have at it" you can't call him. Not only does the owner of this company not return phone calls.. . but messages are lost. When I spoke to his assistant she told me that I didn't ever leave a message. I was also informed that I must have spoken to someone else. No....once again a message was lost again. On top of all this you will be hounded weekly to send your deposit into them. When you call to discuss the required deposit they all perk up and stand at attention.If an owner i.e. Christopher doesn't treat my small projects as important it worries me the kind of work he will do. After multiple attempts to contact Christopher I received 3 call backs in a row. By then when I told Christopher about his assistant and that all I wanted to do was give him more business to quote on he basically treated me like I was calling about an insignificant amount of business.Christopher is rude and it's not surprising his staff is as well. I'm glad he has more business then he can handle. Evidently my " small jobs" were insignificant to him. I see he has posted a rebuttal to my review. Just remember Christopher....defensiveness is based on insecurity and fear. Your peers view you the same way you treated me. We can't all be wrong. You've made a name for yourself. It's for the same reasons I listed above. It doesn't surprise me you wrote the kind of response you did to my review.Potential future customers.....there are plenty of other polite painting companies out there. Don't put yourself through the headache I did. Go with someone else.
Can’t speak highly enough of these folks. Katie was a joy to work with, even though we had lots of questions. Martin as an extremely diligent craftsman. Great attention to detail. Showed up on time - every time. I appreciated his comment during the prep work when I noted how exacting he was - “I treat your home like it was mine” Lilli was a good project manager making sure everything progressed on time and on budget. While we met with Christopher only once, he provided a fair estimate that detailed what work would be done and the various costs and expenses for materials and labor. They stuck to the estimate - no surprises. Plus I appreciated the senior and cash discounts!
Painting by Christopher is fantastic—we got several bids for an interior painting project and these guys were the best. Harley was very knowledgeable with great communication, and Jamie and his team (the painters) were very detail oriented and took great care while at our home. Painting looks great and the price was reasonable. They finished the entire project in just two days. Would highly recommend Painting by Christopher.
Had a fantastic experience with Painting by Christopher. He was extremely responsive and really quick to provide me with numerous quotes, as I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted. I just purchased a house, but was not physically in WI. I was able to correspond with him via phone and email and he and his crew got me on their schedule within days and painted my entire house exactly how i wanted. Top notch!!! Highly recommend!!
