The on site team, led by Brian, were excellent: respectful, friendly, and extremely detail-oriented. They took great care of my home and ensured every part of the job was completed thoroughly. We hired JDavis to paint a bunch of rooms and trim before a move. From start to finish, everyone involved was extremely thoughtful, available, very good at their job, and easy to work with. Jeff the owner walked us through a thoughtful questionnaire to make sure the project would meet our needs, not only in terms of quality but also all the intangibles, such as communication styles and preferences, or how involved we wanted to be in the day-to-day progress. He walked through the house and drew up a thorough and fair estimate, noting that it may go up a bit if we chose very dark colours requiring multiple quotes (which we did).

All the project scoping, progress reports, and payments are handled electronically, every decision is written down, and the painters doing the job have easy access to all that information. We walked through the house with the painters before they started to answer any remaining questions, and texted us photos and questions a handful of times when unexpected situations came up that needed our input. JDavis makes very effective and judicious use of modern tech, and it made a big difference in terms of efficiency and peace of mind--no phone tag and no ambiguity.

Everything was done on time and to spec, and they left the house even cleaner than I expected given the repairs and sanding they had to make.

I am so happy I chose JDavis painting. The whole experience was professional and the end result is gorgeous.
The process starts with a consultation. Jeff takes the time to find out what your expectations are and how not to disappoint you. I booked a few months early with a hard deadline. My requested start was pushed back a few weeks but Jeff communicated in plenty of time and made sure my job was done before my deadline. In fact, the job was done in 2.5 days instead of the estimated 3.5 - 4.
In terms of the crew, I can't say enough positive things. They show up on time, treat your home like it's their own and are so meticulous. I painted my entire condo and lived here while it was being done. Each evening, the place was so tidy. Their communication was stellar as well. Stuatus updates and the plan for the next day were provided everyday. Thanks Romanus, Jeremy & Brian. You guys rock!
