This is the third time we’ve hired Fresh Look Painting for our home projects and they continue to meet our expectations.Our first experience was with interior painting and the quality of their work was great. We were so impressed that we brought them back to handle our exterior painting and again they did an exceptional job.Most recently, they transformed our kitchen cabinets and the results are stunning.The entire experience from start to finish was smooth and professional.Our kitchen looks completely different now and we couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome.We highly recommend Fresh Look Painting for anyone looking for quality service and beautiful results."
We hired this company to repaint our kitchen cabinets and were very impressed by all the 5 star reviews when we hired them but had a very different experience.The company owner was nice but was present onsite only briefly. Otherwise, his employees did the work.We had wanted an alkyd paint which was the original paint on the cabinets, but were talked into lacquer that Yuri stated would be more durable and they could color match.They did the job as scheduled and removed and doors and drawers to be sprayed offsite.However, once the job was complete we noticed the color match did not match our sample. Within a week we noticed other problems like bumpy orange peel like texture, areas that felt rough like sandpaper, and bumps and scrapes in the finish.We contacted Yuri who agreed to return and redo the job. In the month between the job being completed and returning to repaint, the drawers already began to chip and peel revealing the original color underneath that did not appear to have ever been sanded or primed over (even though this was specified in the contract).The crew did return to repaint and this time since we were so unhappy with the quality of the laquer finish and to avoid problems with color matching and easier to touch up we requested the job be redone with alkyd that we had in the past that was more durable for us. They accomodated this request.This time when the doors and drawers were returned from off site the finish still appeared soft resulting in chips and scrapes to the fresh paint as they were reinstalled.The reinstallated doors were also fairly unaligned. A few no longer closed all the way and some of the screws were stripped preventing us from easily readjusting them.The company offered to return a third time for touch-ups, but by this point after being repeatidly unhappy with the quality of the work we declined and opted to do touch ups ourselves to avoid risking further damage.We appreciate that they did return trying to make it right but overall felt the quality was poor.I attached photos of some of the problems we experienced. The paint texture problems were too hard to photograph and not included.
